Design of the album cover for artist Eza Izzy

Introduction & Background : 

As part of a fictitious project, a vinyl album cover was designed for Eza Izzy, a versatile artist working in the fields of tattooing, rap and jazz. The aim of the project was to create a strong and distinctive visual identity for an album that reflected the artist’s diverse artistic influences.

Description of request : 

The main objective was to create a vinyl album cover for Eza Izzy, a fictional artist with many artistic facets. The cover had to use photos of landscapes and people, while incorporating elements relating to the world of rap. It was essential that the final design was consistent with Eza Izzy’s artistic identity.

Direction :

To achieve this objective, a number of key steps were taken :

• Trend research : An analysis of current trends in vinyl album cover design was carried out to ensure that the visual was modern and attractive.
• Photographs of the artist and the environment : Photo shoots were organised to capture Eza Izzy and significant landscapes, to reflect her unique artistic world.
• Photo selection and retouching : The best photos were selected and retouched to improve visual quality and match the desired aesthetic.
• Creation of the album cover using Photoshop : Photoshop was used to integrate the retouched photos into a harmonious design, combining landscape and human elements with a touch of rap.
• Mockup of the album cover : Creation of mockups to visualise the album cover in a real-life situation, ensuring a professional and convincing presentation.

Thanks to a methodical approach and attention to detail, the vinyl album cover designed for Eza Izzy manages to capture and represent his artistic identity in a striking and visually coherent way.
